No7 Advanced Retinol 1.5% Complex Night Concentrate is Kantar’s #1 Health & Beauty Launch for 2020


No7 is celebrating once again, as its Advanced Retinol 1.5% Complex Night Concentrate has been ranked #1 in Kantar’s Top 10 most valuable Health and Beauty launches of 2020. Despite the challenges of the pandemic year, No7’s Retinol topped the Health & Beauty NPD list for 2020 ahead of 3 new hand sanitisers.

Kantar’s study is based on value sales in Britain for the 52 weeks up to 27 December 2020. All products included must be widely available brands and considered genuinely new to make the ranking. The data, taken from Kantar’s panel data of 30,000 households is continuously tracked and used to build an accurate picture of consumer behaviour, including what and where shoppers buy their grocery and Health and Beauty products1

The Formulation for Success

The Kantar study noted there were 3 common themes in the Top10 ranked launches ‘Ingredients Led’, ‘Home Based Lives’ and unsurprisingly, ‘Hygiene’. They also highlighted how the economic effects of the pandemic mean that consumers are expecting more from the products they buy to use at home.
