About the role

You'll be communication – focused and supporting the development of tailored, compelling and credible content that brings the science and evidence to life behind No7 Beauty Company products to match the varying needs of our marketing teams, enabling cut-through engagement with consumers, Influencers, Journalists, KOLs, Dermatologists and Beauty Advisors.

Key responsibilities

  • Work with the Science team, Scientific Credentialing manager, and Testing Team to create content and assets that bring the science and evidence behind No7B' Research and products to life brilliantly. Target audiences for content include internal colleagues, in-store advisors, journalists, consumers, partners, key retailers and KOL including dermatologists/Dermatologist Detailing, Training and Retailer Engagement, and SEO activity under guidance from senior team members.

  • Create clear and compliant scientific summaries and proof points for marketing, PR, KOL/Influencer Engagement,.

  • Work with internal comms teams to showcase our science to the wider business and throughout the Boots Group

  • Support with content creation and support for No7 BC brand exhibits at key dermatology conferences in the US and UK

  • Monitor competitor claims and science comms and new scientific literature to help keep the evidence base current and competitive

  • Support cross-functional teams (R&D, Regulatory, Marketing) with data requests and scientific content needs.

  • Ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance of scientific content.

  • Develop key content summaries and details for 'Dermatologist Approved' and TV/VOD/Radio Clearance dossiers.

  • Provide administrative support for version control, approvals, and documentation processes

  • Gather, reviews, and organises scientific data, clinical results, and claims substantiation for our product portfolio.

  • Contribute to the maintenance of the centralised evidence library, ensuring information is up-to-date, accurate, and easily accessible to team members.

What you'll need to have

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a life science discipline (e.g., Biology, Cosmetic Science, Pharmacology, Dermatology).

  • 1–3 years' experience in a scientific communications, regulatory affairs, or product development role (internships included) in skincare, cosmetics, or related fields.

  • Ability to read scientific studies for all audiences

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to translate technical concepts into clear language.

  • High digital competence with an ability to generate engaging visual schematics

  • Familiarity with claims substantiation or regulatory standards in skincare/cosmetics.

  • Familiarity with global skincare regulatory frameworks (EU, US, Asia)

  • Knowledge of the Beauty Markets (Key brands, product types and claims)

  • Awareness of good practice in statistical analysis
