Role Overview
As the Customer and Supplier Engagement Manager for digital transformation, you will be the primary point of contact for key company partners, proactively providing them to foster strong, productive relationships with our customers and suppliers. Your role is important to ensuring seamless communication, alignment on shared goals, and delivering exceptional service. You'll act as a bridge between the programme team and business owners of suppliers and customer, growing consistent and effective engagement strategies that enhance satisfaction, efficiency, and operational success.
What you’ll need to have
Customer Engagement:
Ensure programme builds and maintains strong relationships with our customers, working with customer-facing teams to understand their needs and ensuring consistent satisfaction.
Act as the voice of the customer within the programme, providing feedback and insights to guide service improvements.
Develop and implement customer engagement strategies to minimize change impacts and risk and ideally boost retention, loyalty and growth in response to the change within the programme
Supplier (3rd parties from product suppliers, Marketing agencies to digital partners) Engagement:
Work with business owners to establish and maintain collaborative relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
Work with business owners to effectively deliver the changes required as part of the digital transformation programme
Collaboration and Communication:
Act as a central point of contact between, customer-facing teams, business owners of suppliers and the programme to ensure timely and effective communication that drives alignment on priorities and goals.
Resolve issues, manage expectations, and facilitate effective problem-solving to maintain trust and satisfaction across the business and the programme.
Tracking and Analysis:
Track and analyse on key performance metrics for both customer satisfaction and supplier efficiency.
Use data-driven insights to recommend improvements and shape engagement strategies.
It would be great if you also have
Proven experience in customer and/or supplier relationship management.
Ability to understand other perspectives (eg. Think like the customer, think like the supplier)
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport quickly.
Existing strong Boots network and knowledge of different teams and functions or strong track record to develop the knowledge, relationships and network at pace with exceptional stakeholder management skills
Strong negotiation and conflict-resolution skills.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and drive decision-making.
Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
