What you'll be doing
A dynamic and commercially-minded consumer strategist, the Consumer Growth & Intelligence Manager plays an important role in promoting consumer understanding into brand and commercial decision-making. Reporting into the Head of Consumer Growth, Analytics and Intelligence, you will activate insight across the marketing growth framework. You will translate consumer understanding and behaviour into bold brand actions, and strengthening brand equity through sharp, relevant stimulus.
You will blend traditional and new digital / tech research approaches to deliver clear, relevant insights that fuel growth. With a grasp of consumer needs and brand levers, the manager will help develop frameworks and narratives that create strategic clarity and commercial impact. You will sit at the heart of our brand growth framework and ensures that the team embeds consumer intelligence across brainstorming, generation, creation and activation.
Key responsibilities
Translate consumer insight into compelling brand and commercial narratives that create action
Activate consumer understanding across marketing pillars (Ideation, Generation, Creation & Activation)
Partner with brand and commercial teams to embed consumer intelligence into strategic planning
Support the development and evolution of frameworks aligned to brand growth levers
Screens and qualify new ideas, balancing creative inspiration with commercial viability
Synthesises multiple sources of consumer data into clear, actionable recommendations
Champions brand strength as a lever for market share growth, linking insight to equity performance
Delivers fresh stimulus and inspiration to teams, grounded in consumer behaviour and brand relevance
Supports the Head of Consumer Growth in finding, creating and deploying new and modern methodologies and tools
Collaborates cross-functionally to ensure insight is integrated into decision-making processes
Drives continuous learning by capturing what works, what doesn't, feeding this into shape future strategic direction
Ensures all activities comply with industry standards
Where feasible attends industry events, and networking functions to build visibility and credibility
Influences cross-functional teams with clarity and impact
Supports budget management and spend, ensuring we continually get the best value from our spend
What you'll need to have (our must-haves)
Ability to integrate and synthesise multiple sources of insight & data, translating these into tangible learnings & recommendations
Proven experience in consumer insight, brand strategy, or marketing—ideally within beauty, luxury, or FMCG sectors
Strong ability to translate consumer data into clear, commercial recommendations
Experience working with brand equity frameworks and understanding their commercial impact
Skilled in synthesising multiple data sources into cohesive narratives
Excellent storytelling and communication skills, with the ability to influence across teams
Comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with a bias for action
Collaborative mindset with experience working cross-functionally
Passionate about consumer behavior, brand growth, and the future of beauty
Confident, curious, and commercially astute
