About the role
You will be leading the quality team which sets the standards and processes for our OTC products throughout their lifecycle so that they can be sold in global markets and deliver the high quality that our customers expect from No7.
You will be an integral part of a cross-functional product development team ensuring compliant products, consistent ways of working and effective risk management through efficient processes.
Key responsibilities
Provide Subject Matter Expertise to support the development, deployment & maintenance of the quality management system to support the No7 BC OTC products throughout the product lifecycle.
Partner with Product Delivery teams to ensure all No7 BC brands are developed and marketed in compliance with the regulatory requirements of the product classification in the region where they are sold and that the OTC elements of the Product Master File are compliant.
Manage the Batch Release program for OTC products marketed in the US.
Ensure all relevant documentation templates are in place for OTC products; such as Technical Files, Technical Agreements, Technical Reports and Batch Release.
Manage internal teams for the provision of front-line support for regulatory audits by the US FDA and Health Canada of our contract service providers.
Ensure any legislative changes impacting the No7 BC portfolio are effectively implemented.
Provide product category quality expertise to the functional teams as required to ensure all issues and incidents are appropriately managed and use insights from quality incidents as continuous improvement for product quality & safety.
Implement an internal audit program to ensure compliance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Provide leadership and coaching to the team ensuring on-going delivery and effective performance management and development.
What you'll need to have
Degree in Chemistry or a related discipline
5+ years of experience in quality roles
Extensive knowledge of OTC quality & quality management systems
Knowledge of GxPs and the regulatory requirements for No7 BC products
Proven Leadership experience
Impact & influence
Ability to communicate effectively and at all levels within the organisation
Facilitation & coaching skills
Ability to operate with limited supervision and autonomy
It would be great if you also have
Understanding of the development and lifecycle management of consumer products.
Experience of batch release of products.
Experience of setting up quality agreements with suppliers.
Experience of managing internal audits.
Experience of quality issue management and resolution.
