Can you introduce yourself and tell us a bit about your career journey as Head of Quality?

I studied Food and Consumer Management at the University of Birmingham and later returned to complete an MSc in Food Safety and Hygiene Management. My career has been firmly rooted in the food and supplements industries, where I’ve had fantastic opportunities to travel globally through supplier auditing, support newly opened manufacturing sites in setting standards, and build strong quality frameworks.
I spent the last seven years at Holland & Barrett, initially as Head of Technical, working closely on innovation and supplier management, and later as Head of Quality, where I was responsible for internal systems and how they were managed. While I thoroughly enjoyed my time there, I’ve always had a strong interest in beauty, so when the opportunity arose to join a brand I’ve long admired, it felt like the perfect time to make the move.

What has your onboarding experience with No7 Beauty Company been like so far?

It’s been a really positive experience. The team are incredibly welcoming, and there’s a huge amount of expertise across the business. It’s great to be in an environment where people are so proud of what they do, and I’m learning a lot already.

What’s been your first impression of the team/company culture?

People are trusted to deliver here, which creates a very empowering environment. It’s fast-paced and demanding, but also highly rewarding. You can really see that people are genuinely passionate about their work.

What will your role as Head of Quality involve, and what excites you most about it?

I’m really looking forward to strengthening our processes and systems across product development and quality management. A key big focus will also be working closely with our suppliers to monitor performance and ensure consistent quality throughout the product lifecycle, helping to protecting all the work that goes into bringing products to market.
What excites me most is the opportunity to build on strong foundations and help elevate how we deliver quality for our customers.

Have you had any memorable moments with colleagues already?

I’ve only been here a few weeks, but one standout moment was being invited in before my official start date to meet the team. It really helped build early connections and made starting feel much less daunting.

What advice would you give to someone considering joining the company?

Come in curious, be ready to learn, and take every opportunity to connect with the people - there’s a wealth of knowledge here, and building those relationships will really help you get the most out of the role.

If you could describe your first few weeks in three words, what would they be?

•    Informative,
•    Collaborative,
•    Product focused.
