No7 Beauty Company Wins International Award for Skin Education Programme

No7 Beauty Company was last night revealed as the winner of the Endorsed Centre category at the 2022 Confederation of International Beauty Therapy and Cosmetology (CIBTAC) Awards. Recognising excellence and innovation, the BABTAC & CIBTAC awards celebrate education, professionalism and industry development within the beauty industry.

The award comes as a result of No7 Beauty Company launching the UK’s first CIBTAC-endorsed skincare training programme for retail beauty advisors; Skin School. Created by the company’s Global Beauty Academy, the education programme was developed in partnership with No7 Beauty Company scientists and industry experts including the University of Manchester and aesthetician and founder of the Black Skin Directory Dija Ayodele.

Reflecting No7 Beauty Company’s commitment to making beauty accessible and affordable for everyone, the comprehensive training programme was created to ensure that No7 and Liz Earle beauty advisors have a uniquely rich and deep understanding of skin’s physiology and the needs of all skin types, regardless of age, ethnicity and differing skin concerns. They will be equipped to provide scientifically based, personalised advice for customers to ensure their individual skin and beauty needs are answered. The initiative was created after 78% of 13,500 beauty consumers worldwide told No7 Beauty Company they would be interested in seeking future skincare advice if it was freely available.[1]

Lavinia Moxley, Head of Global Beauty Academy at WBA says “We are so proud to be recognised as CIBTAC’s Endorsed Centre of 2022. This programme is the first of its kind and has been designed to elevate our advisors to be true skin experts in their role as they have become the first CIBTAC Endorsed experts in a retail setting. We have had to adapt our delivery to the pandemic world, making learning fully digital and accessible to our 1,700 advisors across the UK and ROI. It is a great achievement to be recognised for our commitment to high quality training.”

Lesley Blair, CEO & Chair, BABTAC and CIBTAC said:The level of training given to No7 and Liz Earle advisors is exceptional and they have created a programme to be nothing less than the gold-standard in education for beauty advisors. Aligned with the core values of CIBTAC, No7 and Liz Earle are household beauty brands rooted in expertise and knowledge with a unique position to speak to UK women on every level and at every age.”

The ground-breaking training programme has been given to all No7 and Liz Earle beauty advisors, who receive the internationally recognised stamp of approval by CIBTAC as Skin Experts on the High Street once successfully graduated. Training modules include the needs of different skin tones, menopausal skin, and how to support the beauty needs of those living with cancer, developed in partnership with Macmillan Cancer Support. It is the first and only beauty advisor training programme to be endorsed by CIBTAC.
