As a No7 Beauty Company Formulation Intern, you will gain industry experience working in a laboratory environment, whilst developing our most exciting skin care and cosmetic products that touch millions of lives!
We take our Early Careers development very seriously in No7 Beauty Company, and we really want to help you gain some valuable business experience, to give you a springboard out of university when you finish.
About the role
During the internship you will be working within a team of industry experts, and will support our formulation technologists by helping develop and test formulation prototypes. You will run experiments, interpret and evaluate, and present back your test results.
Some of the tasks you will be involved in are:
• Making up formulations
• Supporting stability testing and product assessment
• Assessing raw materials
• Presenting back findings to the team
Some of the experience you will gain is:
• Laboratory experience
• Industry experience
• Working with award-winning products and brands
• Working with teams cross functionally
• Can see the end-to-end development process at No7 Beauty Company
What you’ll need to have
• Currently enrolled on a degree course in a scientific or engineering discipline, and on track for a 2.1 degree or above
• Good organisational skills
• Proven ability to build strong relationships
• Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience, to present our main research findings
It would be great if you also have
• Is not afraid to question, and welcomes change for the better
• You are inquisitive, have a natural curiosity, and enjoy solving problems through experimentation
• Personal leadership - this is important for this internship, as you will have individual ownership of a project
